- Death Certificates - Florida Vital Statistics-
Instructions and information on obtaining a Florida death certificate. If the death did not occur in Florida, please go to the following link to order certificates from other states: www.cdc.gov/nchs/w2w.htm
- Miami-Dade County Probate Court-
The Probate Court can assist you in filing a small estates petition, will on deposit, or caveat.
- Broward County Probate Court-
The Probate Division handles all matters relating estates, guardianships, trusts, and more
- Florida Insurance Commissioners Office-
Request assistance with an insurance question or file an insurance-related complaint through the Consumer Helpline at 877-693-5236 (Statewide Toll-Free), or at [email protected]
- Social Security Administration-
You cannot apply for survivors’ benefits online. Contact your local Social Security office or call 1-800-772-1213. You can speak to a Social Security representative between 7 AM and 7 PM Monday through Friday.
- U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs-
VA operates 131 national cemeteries in the U.S. and Puerto Rico. Burial and memorial benefits are available for eligible service members, Veterans, and family members.
